Support and Solidarity Organization Engages with UN Consultant to Enhance Humanitarian Aid Mechanisms.

In response to a kind invitation extended by Mr. Najm, a consultant at the United Nations in Iraq, the President of the Support and Solidarity Organization for Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Ahmed Kazim, met with the international consultant in an official meeting held in Basra Governorate. The meeting aimed to review the reality of humanitarian work and discuss ways to enhance support delivery mechanisms for those in need.

​The session took place in an atmosphere of brotherhood and productivity, reflecting mutual understanding and a shared vision between both parties. It was emphasized that providing aid is an inherent right guaranteed to beneficiaries that should be delivered according to the highest humanitarian standards. Discussions focused on developing delivery mechanisms, updating field work methods, and strengthening partnerships and coordination between local organizations and relevant international institutions.

​During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Kazim affirmed that all of the organization's activities and projects are implemented in accordance with the applicable legal frameworks in the country, ensuring the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing to consolidate security, stability, and support state institutions in all fields. He added that the organization adheres to the highest levels of transparency and neutrality, treating all citizens from various backgrounds, religions, and ethnicities across Iraq with complete equality, driven purely by humanitarian standards and shared national responsibility.

​The meeting also included in-depth discussions on overcoming obstacles and facilitating the movement and operational procedures of field organizations. This aims to ensure the smooth execution of projects while fully respecting state sovereignty and official regulations.

​The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to maintain joint coordination and translate these decisions into concrete, practical steps that serve the community and achieve noble humanitarian goals.
