Council Meeting of the Support and Solidarity Organization – July 24, 2026

On Friday, July 24, 2026, the Organization’s Council convened via audio conferencing as part of its regular meetings aimed at advancing humanitarian work and strengthening institutional performance.

The meeting was attended by distinguished council members and administrative staff, led by Dr. Ahmed Kazem, President of the Organization, who chaired the session with wisdom and professionalism. Joining him were Ms. Naba Alaa Hassan, Head of Administration and Finance; Dr. Basheer Kareem, Council Member; Ms. Hanaa Jaber, Head of Legal and Advisory Affairs; and Mr. Mustafa Kamel Habeeb, who participated as Guest of Honor and enriched the discussion with his valuable insights.

The session opened with welcoming remarks and an exchange of appreciation among members, followed by a comprehensive review of the Organization’s journey since its founding, highlighting key humanitarian achievements and the organizational steps that have strengthened its presence in the community.

The agenda focused on two main topics:

• Membership Structure Development: Members discussed introducing new categories into the bylaws, including honorary members, active members, and volunteers. Clear definitions of rights, duties, and responsibilities were proposed, with amendments set for direct voting to ensure alignment with fieldwork needs.

• Administrative Organization and Procedures: Agreement was reached to incorporate a graduated scale of organizational sanctions into the bylaws, based on a joint study and vision by the President and Vice President. This aims to reinforce institutional discipline and ensure consistent performance under clear standards.

In closing, heartfelt thanks were extended to all participants for their outstanding efforts and contributions. It was agreed that the next meeting will be dedicated to discussing and presenting the Organization’s first official project, marking a significant milestone in its humanitarian mission.
